      CCBR typically has 15-20 ongoing projects and has completed over 500 projects since 1982. Each project is guided by our commitment to impacting social change in practical and powerful ways. We conduct research with people not on people, cultivating respect with communities at every step of the process.

      8902_Regenerative Cities in Southern Africa: Sustainable Adaptations to Rapidly Intensifying Cyclones

      CCBR contributed to this Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council SSHRC, Connection Grant project (Led by Cameron McCordic at the University of Waterloo) by co-developing and co-facilitating a four-part webinar series on horizon scanning, futures thinking, sustainable urban transitions, and artificial intelligence applications.

      8907_Canadian Christians Views on Global Poverty: A Kentro/ Graf-Martin Research Project Coached by CCBR

      CCBR partnered with Kentro Christian Network on a research project led by Graf-Martin, exploring Canadian Christians' perceptions of global poverty. CCBR strengthened the project's framing, integrity, and usefulness by providing coaching and feedback throughout the research process. Our team supported collaborative, community-based data collection through tool development, data analysis, report preparation, and knowledge mobilization.

      8967_Evaluation Capacity-Building to Advance Sustainable Development Goals

      The purpose of this project was: 1) to build the community-based evaluation capacity of organizations that are attempting to eliminate violence and promote peaceful and equitable societies, and in the process, 2) strengthen the implementation of Canada’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030 Agenda.
