Projects

CCBR typically has 15-20 ongoing projects and has completed over 500 projects since 1982. Each project is guided by our commitment to impacting social change in practical and powerful ways. We conduct research with people not on people, cultivating respect with communities at every step of the process.

Projects can be searched for using words from the project title or using the service area, theme, or date range for the project. You can also type 'Service Area' or 'Theme' into the search bar to get a list of options in each of these fields.

CCBR partnered with Kentro Christian Network on a national research project led by Graf-Martin Communications to explore how Canadian Christians understood and responded to global poverty. The project examined beliefs, attitudes, and actions related to international development and justice, with the goal of identifying ways that churches, organizations, and individuals could strengthen their efforts to address poverty worldwide.

CCBR supported the project by strengthening its framing, integrity, and usefulness through coaching and feedback during all stages of the research. Our team facilitated a collaborative, community-based approach to data collection, helping design research tools, coordinate outreach, and analyze results. The project gathered perspectives from Christian leaders, congregations, and organizations across Canada, combining survey data and qualitative insights. CCBR also contributed to report preparation and knowledge mobilization activities that shared findings with faith-based and development networks across the country.
