Projects
CCBR typically has 15-20 ongoing projects and has completed over 500 projects since 1982. Each project is guided by our commitment to impacting social change in practical and powerful ways. We conduct research with people not on people, cultivating respect with communities at every step of the process.
Projects can be searched for using words from the project title or using the service area, theme, or date range for the project. You can also type 'Service Area' or 'Theme' into the search bar to get a list of options in each of these fields.

At CCBR, we partnered with the City of Brantford to develop a sustainability planning package designed to strengthen the long-term funding readiness and organizational sustainability of local service providers. The package was created as a practical, adaptable resource to help organizations navigate future funding opportunities while building confidence in grant development, program planning, and reporting processes.
This work included the development of accessible guidance materials on effective grant writing, logic model development, project budgeting, and program planning checklists. It also included an environmental scan of local, provincial, and national funding opportunities, with a particular focus on identifying local and youth-oriented funding streams where possible. The package provided organizations with tools they could return to over time as they pursued new funding opportunities and strengthened internal planning processes.
The project also supported curriculum development focused on increasing funding literacy and proposal development skills among learners.
