Projects

CCBR typically has 15-20 ongoing projects and has completed over 450 projects since 1982. Each project is guided by our commitment to impacting social change in practical and powerful ways. We conduct research with people not on people, cultivating respect with communities at every step of the process.

Projects can be searched for using words from the project title or using the service area, theme, or date range for the project. You can also type 'Service Area' or 'Theme' into the search bar to get a list of options in each of these fields.

The Centre for Community-Based Research (CCBR) collaborated with the Knowledge Development and Exchange Hub (KDE) to jointly develop supports aimed at enhancing community-based research and strategic evaluation approaches. This partnership focused on content development, including the delivery of two virtual workshops and one in-person workshop centered on community-based evaluation, in addition to curating online resources that are now accessible through the KDE website.

The KDE Hub serves as a platform for facilitating connections, knowledge creation, and knowledge sharing among projects funded by the federal government and stakeholders in the mental health promotion (MHP) field. One of the KDE Hub's key areas of contribution is building capacity among funded projects, including the capacity to conduct impactful research and evaluation.
